Approved From Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council
The Rai Foundation College of Nursing is proud to announce its authorization with Pakistan Nursing and midwifery Council. Under PNC decision, The Rai Foundation College of nursing is authorized to organize the classes for 04 years generic BSN and 02 years post RN BSN degrees. We are excited to begin the new chapter at our facility. The PNC is an autonomous, regulatory body constituted under the Pakistan Nursing Council Act (1952, 1973) and empowered to register (license) Nurses, Midwives, Lady Health Visitors (LHVs), and Nursing Auxiliaries to practice in Pakistan. PNC was established in 1948.

Under IUB decision, The Rai Foundation College of nursing is authorized to organize the classes for 04 years generic BSN and 02 years post RN BSN degrees programs and 02 years LHV, 1.5 years CMW and 1 years post basic speciality Diploma Program We are excited to begin the new chapter at our facility. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia. In the past for over three decades, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur continues to grow rapidly pursuing the vision of being an internationally recognized institution.


Offered Degree Programs

BSN Generic 4 Years Program
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Generic BSN) is a 4-year program offered after the completion of F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or equivalent based on semester System wherein the Professional Examinations are conducted by The Islamia University Bahawalpur(IUB). Rai Foundation College Of Nursing is fully recognized by the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council (PNC) and is accepted all around the world.

Post RN BSN 2 Years
The Post RN BSN program is a 2-year degree designed for registered nurses who already hold a diploma in general nursing and midwifery. This program enhances clinical knowledge, leadership abilities, critical thinking, and research skills, enabling diploma nurses to earn a bachelor’s degree and progress in their careers.
Offered Diploma Programs

LHV 2 Years
The LHV program trains female healthcare professionals to provide primary healthcare services, particularly in maternal and child health, family planning, and community health education. LHVs play a key role in rural and underserved areas.

CMW 1.5 Years
The Community Midwifery program prepares women to become skilled birth attendants in rural and community settings. Midwives are trained to handle normal deliveries, provide antenatal and postnatal care, and identify high-risk pregnancies for referral.

Post RN BSN 2 Years
This diploma equips registered nurses with specialized knowledge and skills to manage emergency and trauma cases effectively. It includes advanced training in triage, life-saving procedures, critical decision-making, and fast-paced emergency department management.
Eligibility Criteria
BSN Generic
- FSc (Pre-Medical) with 50% marks minimum
Post RN BSN
- Diploma in Nursing or midwifery with 1 year experience as RN
Lady Health Visitors(LHV)
- FSc (Pre-Medical) or Matric with 45 % marks minimum
Community Midwife (CMW)
- Matric with 40% marks
